For the guys of Nickelodeon’s Big Time Rush, headlining the Kids’ Choice Awards was a great ending to an incredible week.

“Our album went gold, ‘Boyfriend’ is a top 40 hit officially, so we’re having one of the best weeks of our lives,” James Maslow told TVGuide.com on the orange carpet. While talking about the song they were performing later in the night, the group shared what they think is the foremost quality in a good boyfriend or girlfriend. Maslow said “communication,” bandmembers Logan Henderson and Kendall Schmidt said spontaneity and chivalry, but for Carlos Pena he thought long and hard before stating, “Kim Kardashian.”

We had over 1,000 entries, but Brianna won the guys over with her personalized scrapbook (in which she professed her love!).

Carlos, Kendall, James and Logan gave Brianna a private tour of the set and even taught her how to use the swirly slide. “It was so cool! They were really nice!” Brianna says of her day. The boys of Big Time Rush, Kendall, James, Carlos, and Logan, visited “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” to talk about the success of their music and Nickelodeon show, and to perform an acoustic version of smash hit “Boyfriend” featuring a surprise rapper!

Big Time Rush has become a smash hit television show commanding large audiences. James details the band’s creation, “It was a two year audition process with four national tours, and [Nickelodeon] saw thousands of kids in four screenings. Logan and I were in the first round, then we found Carlos. We actually shot a pilot with someone other then Kendall then a year later finally found Kendall.”

The success of the television’s shows original music spurred interest in their album and even a unique collaboration with rapper Snoop Dogg for their hit “Boyfriend.”“We have to thank his daughter. It started with her. She’s a big fan of the show.” However they are open to more dream collaborations, “We’ve all agreed on Justin Timberlake. We thought that would be really really cool.”
