“Our album went gold, ‘Boyfriend’ is a top 40 hit officially, so we’re having one of the best weeks of our lives,” James Maslow told TVGuide.com on the orange carpet. While talking about the song they were performing later in the night, the group shared what they think is the foremost quality in a good boyfriend or girlfriend. Maslow said “communication,” bandmembers Logan Henderson and Kendall Schmidt said spontaneity and chivalry, but for Carlos Pena he thought long and hard before stating, “Kim Kardashian.”

Carlos, Kendall, James and Logan gave Brianna a private tour of the set and even taught her how to use the swirly slide. “It was so cool! They were really nice!” Brianna says of her day. Big Time Rush has become a smash hit television show commanding large audiences. James details the band’s creation, “It was a two year audition process with four national tours, and [Nickelodeon] saw thousands of kids in four screenings. Logan and I were in the first round, then we found Carlos. We actually shot a pilot with someone other then Kendall then a year later finally found Kendall.”

The success of the television’s shows original music spurred interest in their album and even a unique collaboration with rapper Snoop Dogg for their hit “Boyfriend.”“We have to thank his daughter. It started with her. She’s a big fan of the show.” However they are open to more dream collaborations, “We’ve all agreed on Justin Timberlake. We thought that would be really really cool.”

Big Time Reality: Griffin orders a reality show about the guys’ lives, complete with the audience voting to eliminate one member of BTR. To stay interesting for the cameras, Carlos and James resort to non-stop fist fighting, Logan fakes a melodramatic romance with Camille, while Kendall tries to unplug the cameras once and for all.

He told BANG Showbiz: “British girls are cute, the accent really helps. We had a couple of our fans at the airport and so I tweeted that our British fans were cute, and straight away I got like 6,000 tweets back from the states like, ‘oh – so we’re not cute?’ I was like, no, no, no that’s not what I was saying!
“But I admit, my crush ever since I saw the first ‘Harry Potter’ movie has been Emma Watson. Especially with her short hair, everything I hear about her is so good.”

His bandmate, Kendall Schmidt, said although they’ve had their eyes on some girls, they’ve not thought up any good introductory lines to use on them yet.
He said: “We’re not very big on pick up lines, I like to just say ‘hi’. If I see a girl I like in a bar I’ll just go up and ask her name, I like it when they ask your name first though!”
